Terms
Terms and conditions
The plain-English version of how we work together. By paying your deposit, you agree to these terms.
Last updated 20 October 2026
1. Who we are
Turbo Studio is run by Joanne Palazzetti in Sydney, NSW (ABN to come). "We", "us" and "our" mean Turbo Studio. "You" means the person or business ordering a website. Turbo Studio is not registered for GST, so no GST is added to our prices.
2. What's included
The Fast Website package is $1,000 and includes:
- a custom design and custom code, written with AI and finished by a designer (no templates or page builders)
- up to 5 pages, built from the content you supply
- a mobile-friendly layout tested on phone, tablet and desktop
- a contact form
- basic on-page SEO, an XML sitemap, robots.txt, a favicon and a social share image
- cropping and optimising your images, if the originals meet our requirements
- accessibility basics: colour contrast, keyboard navigation and focus states
- one round of changes
Anything else, such as extra pages, copywriting, AI-generated images, domain registration, hosting, launch, replacing an existing website or ongoing updates, is an add-on. We'll quote add-ons in writing before we start. Online shops, bookings, logins and other features are handled case by case.
3. Booking and payment
Once we've confirmed your scope and price in writing, a 50% deposit books your build. The remaining 50% is due before your website goes live or the files are handed over. Prices are in Australian dollars. Invoices are due within 7 days unless we agree otherwise.
4. Your content and the timeline
Your website is ready for review within 5 business days of us receiving your complete brief, all your content and images, and your deposit. The clock starts once everything has arrived. If something is missing, or we're waiting on you during the project, the timeline pauses until we hear back.
If we don't hear from you for 30 days, we may close the project. You can reopen it later, subject to availability.
5. Changes
One round of changes is included. When your site is ready for review, send us one list with all your changes. We'll make them and send the site back for approval. Further changes, or changes that add pages or features, are quoted separately before we do them.
6. Ownership
Once your final payment is made, the website we made for you is yours: the design and the code written for your site. Your text, images, logo and other content always stay yours. We keep the right to reuse our general know-how, techniques and small reusable pieces of code. Fonts, software libraries and third-party services keep their own licences.
7. How we use AI
We use AI tools to help draft code and layouts, and to create images if you order that add-on. Joanne directs the design, reviews everything and finishes it by hand. AI-generated images may not be protected by copyright in the same way as photography, and similar images could exist elsewhere, so we don't recommend using them as a logo or trade mark. We don't put your private or sensitive information into AI tools.
8. Your responsibilities
You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, all the content you give us, and that it's accurate and lawful. You're responsible for the content on your website, and for checking it before it goes live.
9. Domains, hosting and other services
Domains are registered in your name. You're responsible for paying renewals and hosting fees, and for keeping your logins safe. We aren't responsible for outages, changes or price rises by hosting companies, domain registrars or other third-party services.
10. Cancellations and refunds
If you cancel before we start work, we'll refund your deposit in full. Once work has started, the deposit covers the work done and isn't refundable. If you cancel after we've finished and before launch, the remaining balance is still due for the work completed. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
11. After launch
If something we built doesn't work as agreed, tell us and we'll fix it. New changes and updates after launch aren't included, but our Ongoing care add-on covers them.
12. Showing our work
We may show your finished website in our portfolio and on social media. If you'd rather we didn't, just tell us in writing.
13. Liability
Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Apart from those, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data.
14. Privacy
We only use your details to provide our services and reply to you. See our privacy policy.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies is the one in place when you paid your deposit.
16. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
