What we collect, why, and how we look after it. The short version: only what we need to reply to you and build your website.

1. Who we are
Turbo Studio is run by Joanne Palazzetti in Sydney, NSW. "We", "us" and "our" mean Turbo Studio. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
2. What we collect
- When you fill in a form: the details you type into the Start your site or Say hello forms, such as your name, business name, email, phone number and your project details or question.
- When you work with us: what you send us to build your website, such as your text, images and logo, plus what we need to invoice you.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you include in your message.
We don't ask for sensitive information, and we don't collect payment card details on this website.
3. Why we collect it
Only to reply to you, prepare your quote and brief, build and launch your website, invoice you, and keep the records the law requires. We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask us to.
4. Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We only share it where it's needed to do the work, for example with our email and website hosting providers, or with a domain registrar or hosting company if you ask us to set those up for you. We don't put your private or sensitive information into AI tools.
Some of these providers may store information outside Australia. We choose reputable providers that look after it properly.
5. Cookies and visitor statistics
This website doesn't use cookies to track you or show you ads. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. If we add visitor statistics in future, we'll update this policy first.
6. How we look after it
Your information is kept in password-protected email and storage accounts. We keep it only as long as we need it, including the records we must keep for tax, and then delete it.
7. Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (unless we have to keep it by law). Just email us and we'll reply within 30 days.
8. Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first and we'll try to put it right. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
9. Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if anything changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
