Listen before we lift the scissors.
The consultation sets the tone. We want to understand what you love about your hair, what frustrates you and what a good result looks like in your everyday life.
The studio
A little creativity. A lot of listening. A studio built around the way you want to feel.
Individuality looks good on you.The GLOSS philosophy
Some appointments begin with a folder full of inspiration. Others start with “I’m not quite sure.” Both are good places to begin. Our approach is about finding the connection between what you love, what your hair needs and what fits into your life.
We look at the way your hair falls, the texture you work with and how much time you like to spend styling. Then we bring ideas to the conversation, explain the options and create a direction that makes sense for you.
Our way of doing things
The consultation sets the tone. We want to understand what you love about your hair, what frustrates you and what a good result looks like in your everyday life.
Inspiration is a starting point, not a template. A look becomes yours through the details: a softer edge, a different parting, a warmer tone or a little more movement.
A finish needs a life beyond the mirror. We talk about styling, upkeep and how your cut or colour may evolve, so you know what to expect between visits.

A considered change
A transformation is exciting. It also deserves a realistic conversation. If you are thinking about a much shorter cut or a major colour shift, we start with the shape, condition and possibilities of your hair today.
Sometimes the right direction is immediate. Sometimes it is a plan across several visits. Either way, the aim is to help you understand the process and feel comfortable with the next step.
Let’s talk about your hairYour first visit
Bring a few images if you have them, along with a little context about your current routine and any previous colour or treatments. Knowing what has already happened to your hair helps shape a more useful consultation.
You can ask about maintenance, products, appointment length or how a look might grow out. There is no need to know the technical names. Describe the feeling you are after and we will work from there.
