ABOUT THE PLACE

A little beautiful chaos

ITALIAN SOUL.
SYDNEY AFTER DARK.

A seat at our table

CLOSE TABLES. LONG EVENINGS.

A place to
settle in

A love letter to the Italian places where the tables are close, the lights are low, and dinner has a habit of becoming the whole evening.

Ciao, Amore is our imagined corner of Surry Hills. Thirty-two seats, handmade pasta and a soundtrack that travels from old Italian records to something you’ll ask us to write down.

The cooking is generous and seasonal. The welcome is easy. The last spoonful of tiramisù is negotiable.

Something for the table

Good taste goes beyond the plate

Great Company

Italian designer silhouettes in chrome, velvet and worn leather. A chandelier with a past. A wall of black-and-white cinema faces looking on. Our room brings the glamour of an old film into the middle of a very good night.

It’s a little vintage, a little modern, and entirely comfortable. Dress up if you feel like it. Lean back. Pass the plate. This is a room made to be used.

A few house rules

Very serious
about enjoying it.

  1. Order something for the middle.

  2. Leave room for tiramisù.

  3. Ask about the record that’s playing.

  4. Stay for the conversation.
