THE HOUSE / ORIGINSAN INSTINCT.
A POINT OF VIEW.
A HOUSE.
A fictional founding story, written for the SANG / FROID concept.
THE FOUNDER / ALEX RENIt began with a coat.
For imagined founder Alex Ren, the starting point was a simple question: could a winter coat feel like both protection and an expression of self? The answer became the first language of SANG / FROID — generous volume, a precise shoulder and a silhouette with room to move.
Ren’s creative perspective draws on the contrasts of city life: hard architecture and soft interiors, public composure and private feeling. Those opposites shape a wardrobe in which an oversized knit can feel as decisive as tailoring, and a flash of oxblood can change the mood of an entire look.
A name. A way of being.
Named for the French expression for composure under pressure, the house places feeling beneath a calm exterior. Black provides the foundation, ivory brings light, and red supplies the pulse. The intention is personal rather than prescriptive: a clear design vocabulary that leaves space for the wearer.
Winter 26 introduces that point of view through sculptural coats, substantial knitwear and tactile accessories. It is conceived as the opening chapter of the house — an exploration of how clothing can hold warmth, strength and individuality in the same silhouette.
01 / THE IDEAProtection with presence.
The house begins with a coat: a familiar garment reconsidered as a space for warmth, movement and self-expression. Its generous shape offers shelter without disappearing into the background. That first idea extends through the wardrobe, balancing the practical needs of winter with the desire to feel completely, unmistakably like yourself.
02 / THE LANGUAGEContrast as a constant.
Black, ivory and oxblood establish a visual language that carries from sculptural outerwear to substantial knitwear and tactile accessories. Each shade plays a distinct role: depth, light and energy. Together, they create connections across the collection, allowing contrasting textures and proportions to be layered with an intuitive sense of harmony.
03 / THE FIRST CHAPTERWinter 26.
Winter 26 introduces the house through pieces that move between the intimacy of getting dressed and the energy of the city. Enveloping coats, oversized jumpers and decisive boots establish the opening silhouette. This chapter sets the tone for a wardrobe with composure on its surface and feeling at its core.
