PAIRING SENSORS

HOW TO PAIR SPEED AND CADENCE SENSORS TO THE WAHOO FITNESS APP FOR IOS AND ANDROID

Our bikes are fitted with speed and cadence sensors which allow you not only to utilise the Wahoo Fitness App and save your workout data, but also to engage with the many online virtual cycling platforms available. On this page you'll find instructions to sync to either the IOS or Android platforms. The pairing process to utilise the Wahoo Fitness App is the same whether you have hired a spin bike or a road bike and trainer.

Pairing with IOS

In a few easy steps we'll have you syncing your workouts to the Wahoo Fitness app on your IOS phone or tablet.

  • You have two sensors on your bike. The speed sensor is wrapped around the rear wheel hub (centre of the wheel). The cadence sensor is tied to the pedal crank.
  • Download the Wahoo Fitness app to your IOS device here and complete the Profile details for your free account
  • In order for syncing to be successful, we need to ensure the sensors are awake. Turn the pedals, you should see a small blue light flashing from each sensor
  • On the app select Settings / Sensors / Add New Sensor / Quickly Pair a New Sensor
  • Hold your device close to the bike so it can pick up the sensors signal
  • The app will now search for both sensors, Wahoo Speed and Wahoo Cadence. Once they are discovered click on each separately and 'Save Sensor'.
  • Return to Home Screen and click Workout bottom left of screen
  • Choose Cycling / Enter Workout / Start
  • You're ready to go!
  • When your workout is complete, choose Pause / Save (if you wish to save your data)
